It is easy to find many things to do while visiting Miami. Our town is rich in Native American history. Our summer schedule is packed full of Native American Pow Wows. Many tribes offer casinos for your entertainment and host outdoor concerts with award winning artists.
If a musuem tour in your plans, travel to nearby Picher. The Miner's Museum is packed full of photos and memories of the earling mining days. The Dobson Museum is located in the heart of Miami. It too offers tours and is home to numerous Native American & Mining Artifacts.
You may also be interested in fishing for paddlefish or spoonbill as we call them. Miami is situated between the Neosho and Spring River, both of which are excellent fishing grounds.
Miami is also home to the Route 66 Vintage Iron Motorcycle Museum. It is home to Steve McQueen's personal racing Husqvarna and his racing trophies. While there, you will also find the only 1919 GCS Australian Motorcycle left in existence. They also offer a complete line of Route 66 products for your shopping needs.
Last, but not least is our wide variety of shopping and dining establishments. While in town, be sure to visit our downtown shops and numerous restaurants. You will be glad you did.
