The City of Miami and the Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) in partnership with Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and the Oklahoma Eight Man Football Coaches Association (OEMFCA) will host the 2016 Oklahoma 8-Man All-Star Football Week in Miami. The game was brought from Alva to Miami in 2003. This will be the 14th year for the Miami CVB and NEO A&M College to join forces with OEMFCA to host the Eight-Man All-Star Game in Miami.
The 2016 Rodeo Miami event, hosted by Vance Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will take place on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at the Miami Fairgrounds. This event has been recognized by the American Cowboy Rodeo Association (ACRA) as the Rodeo of the Year for the past six consecutive years (2010-2015). With more than four hundred contestants anticipated, the event continues to draw fans from across the four state region and serves as one of the largest annual events held in Miami, Oklahoma.

The Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will host the NJCAA Region 2 Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament on Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st at the Miami Multi-Purpose Event Complex at Red Robertson Field.
Beginning Nov. 6, Miami will honor its Spartan roots as it hosts a two-day tribute to aviators who trained in Miami for entry into World War II.
The 2015 Green Country Youth Football Super Bowl will take place on Saturday, October 24th at Red Robertson Field at the City of Miami Multi-Purpose Sports Complex on the NEO campus. Six games will be held starting with 1st grade and concluding with 6th grade.
