Miami Nation Stomp Dance

On Saturday, the annual Winter Gourd and Stomp Dance will be held from 3:00 p.m.–midnight, at the Miami Nation Council House, 2319 Newman Road, Miami, Oklahoma.The Gourd Dance will begin at 3 p.m. The tribe will host a free stew and chili dinner at 5 p.m. The Stomp Dance will begin at 7 p.m. Leaders and shell shakers will receive a stipend.For more information, contact Julie Olds or Emilee Truelove at 918-542-1445.
