When BMX ( Bicycle Moto Cross) racing made its debut at the 2008 Olympics, Miami wasn't far behind. Opening in the Spring of 2010, Miami BMX is the home of Oklahoma's newest BMX. The track is fully sanctioned by the worlds largest BMX sanctioning body, the American Bicycle Association (ABA). Miami BMX offers membership that is accepted at all ABA tracks nationwide and the first race is free with full memebership. Riders of all ages can join the fun and compete for prizes. The uniquely designed track is challenging for beginners and experts alike. It is always free to spectators.
The track is located at 411 H St SE, one block off Steve Owens Blvd. Regular race days are Saturdays with sign ups from 9-10:30 a.m. Check the website, (www.miamibmx.com) for updates and information or call the track's phone at 918-541-0BMX (0269). Track operator is Dale and Cindy Riley.
